The ZAPFUNDZ™ idea was born out of a desire by the original founders of ZAP™ Industries, Inc. to find a way to give back. These founders, my wife Rebekah and I, have worked with the idea for years. Originally the idea began as a coffee fundraiser, and while mildly successful, it didn't provide us with the right fundraising vehicle we felt we could pass onto others. So we kept the idea alive and continued our search for the right business with the right product.

Then in February 2009, the ZAP™ brand was created. Just a couple months later the ZAP™ MAN character and ZAPFUNDZ™ were created. From there the website was designed and became what you see today - a fully functional fundraising program which offers groups the opportunity to keep on raising funds ALL YEAR ROUND!
